Fiery Irie are a Bar & Grill in Jamaica. They wanted to come up with label designs that fit their existing logo and branding.
However, their logo was very round, neat, and symmetrical - even though they are a grill called FIERY.
I thought I needed to bring a bit more roughness to the overall design.
So I came up with the "cut out" illustration style - but kept true to the existing branding with colors and handwritten typography. I think the form of the Sorell fruit looks like flames itself, so it was a perfect chance to set the whole label on fire!!
This is the Sorell plant. Before this project I had never seen one before!
